Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we do accept most insurance. We provide one-on-one focused care treating the individual. This allows optimal time with the patient, without restrictions to focus on one body part which in turn maximizes outcomes. Having more time dedicated to the patient allows for improvements to be made at a faster rate.
Is a doctor referral or health insurance required?
No, a physician prescription is not required for out of network health insurance. However, we do accept most insurance. We also provide payment plans and packages to allow you to take control of your health. You can also use your out of network insurance benefits, your health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA). We can provide an itemized superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. By submitting your receipt, you may be able to recover a percentage of the cost you pay (typically 60-80%) from your insurance company, depending on your "out-of-network" coverage. This is the best model of health care for both the patient and the clinician. You are paying for direct access to a doctor of physical therapy to help manage your health proactively and reactively based on your specific needs. You might think you are paying more by not going through insurance but when you consider co-pays, deductibles and many other hoops you have to pay for and go through, this progressive model of healthcare is actually cheaper and more beneficial for the patient. The quality of care provided and direct access to a healthcare professional is beyond its value.
What are the benefits of this model of healthcare?
Personalized Care
This model of care eliminates the stress of worrying about insurance coverage, enabling you to receive all sorts of interventions without restrictions. You receive 100% one-on-one care with a doctor of physical therapy with increased time spent with your therapist producing quicker results. Easier scheduling, no waiting and ability to contact therapist with questions as needed.
Cost Predictability
On-demand care without insurance based limitations or frequently required prescriptions to address new body parts. For those with high-deductible insurance plans or plans with very low PT coverage, this service can cost the same or in most cases cost less than going through insurance. You know exactly how much this service will cost you without hidden fees.
Unmatched Convenience
One-on-one customized care scheduled at your convenience. You no longer need to worry about long wait times, high copays, or the hassle of a referral system. Seek care early when you first notice a problem, this not only saves tons of money on more invasive treatments down the line, but also spares you from a lot of unnecessary suffering.
Why should I consider this?
Because the current medical system does not provide the frequency or density to return an athlete to full function. Access to physical therapy helps eliminate pain and return patients to function, but also helps reduce the chance of future recurrence, and provides a reduction in down-time, loss of work, and long-term medical costs.
Advantages of prepay pricing?
Accountability and improved outcomes are both the result of a pre-paid system. Research suggests that private pay physical therapy provides: lower overall costs, reduction in time committed, and greater patient reported levels of improvement.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule appointments by clicking on the "book now" icons or scan the QR code. If you are a first time patient you will need to register an account first by utilizing the same icon. Once you are registered you will be allowed to schedule your own appointments.
Is there an expiration for the packages purchased?
Yes, packages are good for 1 year. You may utilize your appointments throughout the year however you please.
